What is AlphaZone Startup School?

AlphaZone Startup School is an early-stage startup education and incubation program that helps African founders turn ideas into viable, scalable ventures through practical guidance, mentorship, and ecosystem support.

Who can apply?

Our programs are open to aspiring entrepreneurs, early-stage founders, and innovative teams, regardless of background or prior startup experience.

Do I need a fully developed idea?

No. Founders can join at the idea stage. We support participants from concept development through validation, MVP creation, and early growth.

Are AlphaZone programs physical or virtual?

Programs run physically from our base in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State, with virtual participation available for founders across Nigeria and Africa.

How long do the programs last?

Programs typically run for 6–12 weeks, depending on the track, with continued mentorship and community support afterward.

What benefits do I get from learning at ALPHAZONE TECH HUB?

There’s a long list of benefits including: access to job placement after training, mentorship support, certification, flexibility to learn at your own pace, a conducive learning and interactive environment.

Is there an age limit for tech training?

At ALPHAZONE TECH HUB we believe tech goes beyond age boundaries. However, training is tailored to fit your needs and ability. We have special kiddies bootcamps and advanced courses for adults. In the AlphaZone, tech is for all.

I’m a student and I do not reside in your city. Is it possible to take classes?

While we are focused on onsite training; we also offer specialized virtual/online classes on request for part time trainees. Kindly send us a direct message to fix a schedule.

I do not have a laptop? Can I still learn?

A laptop is a prerequisite for most tech skills and digital learning. Besides having it during training, it is very helpful to have a personal computer to practice after classes. On our part, we can offer an onsite pc for an extra fee. Exceptions apply for scholarship trainees or interns.

I’m a novice in tech, can I actually do this?

All techies started as newbies, you just have to learn, practice and practice. So yes, you can do it.

What days does the hub open?

ALPHAZONE TECH HUB opens Monday to Friday. 9am to 5pm.

We support founders with pitch preparation, investor readiness, mentorship, and access to funding opportunities through our ecosystem and partner networks.
